cpuminer is a multi-threaded Bitcoin mining software, exceedingly optimized CPU miner for Litecoin, Bitcoin, and different cryptocurrencies. currently supported algorithms are SHA-256d and scrypt(N, 1, 1).
It helps the getblocktemplate mining protocol in addition to the Stratum mining protocol and may be used for each solo and pooled mining.
